Key Light Placement - An overview For Practice


It wasn't so very long ago the I observed a high profile cameraman teaching a lighting class interior film school in Aurora, Denver. The students were working together with many lighting kits with each larger units of further intensity. Quite frankly, this is a hodgepodge of indecision. There were many lights to generate with no sense of direction or problem for where the key light has to be placed.

I assumed some day their were to teach a category, how would I went about teaching lighting. In order to remove things down to most effective form, I developed the popular light exercise. It involves 13 choices with many consider before actually setting gentle in place.
