You have probably heard the old saying, "sticks and stones may break your bones, but words will really don't hurt you. " A wrong! It's because words have an extremely powerful effect that naturally i devise defenses against the idea. If words truly couldn't matter we wouldn't put just as much emphasis on the strength of words.
The Bible says that, "Life and death consistantly improves power of the language. " (Proverbs 18: 21) James puts incredible emphasis on the strength of the tongue by firing, "So also the tongue is a part of the body, and yet it boasts of great things. See how great a forest is determined aflame by such the fire! " (James 3: 5)
Negative words must be used more damaging than a lengthy stick or stone breaking a bone. A broken bone will heal inside of of months, but a damaging ad can cause pain indefinitely.
